The Detroit Red Wings look to make it three wins in a row tonight in the first game of a home and home series this week with the Edmonton Oilers.  The Red Wings currently leads the Central division with an 11-2-3 record, and are winning 74.2 percent of simulations tonight by an average score of 4-2.

Ty Conklin is in net again tonight, after stopping 25 of 27 shots in a 3-2 win for Detroit on Friday.  Conklin is stopping 23 of 25 shots in tonight’s simulations, helping Detroit to another victory.  Tomas Holmstrom, Pavel Datsyuk, and Marian Hossa are combining for at least one goal in simulations, with two or more goals in 34 percent of simulations.  Henrik Zetterberg, Johan Franzen, and Mikael Samuelsson are also combining for at least one goal in simulations, with two or more goals in 35 percent of simulations.  Zetterberg, Hossa, Holmstrom, and Franzen are all scoring a goal in around half of simulations to lead Detroit tonight.

Dwayne Roloson is stopping 34 of 38 shots for Edmonton, and the offense isn’t giving him much help.  Ales Hemsky, Sam Gagner, and Ethan Moreau are combining for a goal in just 51 percent of simulations.  Shawn Horcoff, Robert Nilsson, and Fernando Pisani are combining for a goal in just 48 percent of simulations.  Ethan Moreau is scoring the most goals for Edmonton in tonight’s simulations.
