Deshaun Watson’s ranking may seem aggressive, but I could see him going as the third quarterback off the board and being the most overdrafted player in 2018… Kirk Cousins should post another Top 10 season no matter where he’s playing… The new-look Saints just don’t need Drew Brees to be a gunslinger anymore… Andrew Luck would rank much higher, possibly fourth, if we knew he was 100 percent… Hold that thought on Watson, as nope, Jimmy Garoppolo, the best quarterback of all time, will be the most overdrafted.

Even with terrible use for five straight weeks, Kareem Hunt still led the league in rushing, which is great since at his worst, he was still the best… No one (that I know of) was higher on David Johnson than I was, and it pains me to have him fifth, but he has no coach, quarterback, has been injured two straight years and could have a coach that is worse than Andy Reid was for Hunt… Yes, Saquon Barkley deserves to be here – remember all those who hated me for saying the same about Ezekiel Elliott his rookie season?… Yes, Alvin Kamara looks to be too low, but he barely topped 200 touches with that touchdown rate. That’s hard to repeat, even in the Saints offense… There are some concerning reports on Dalvin Cook’s knee – the word, microfracture, tossed around – and that’s worrisome…

Sony Michel can likely toss his name into the overdrafted pool after Kamara’s success… Several other rookie running backs could move up or down depending on their teams… There are also many backfields headaches as of today, including Jamaal Williams and the Packers, Chris Carson and the Seahawks and Dion Lewis and the every-frustrating Patriots just to name a few.

Quick aside, help me out everyone! Consider it your way of saying thanks for all of the rankings. I just got a new vehicle, and if I get 199 likes (#CheckTheLink and #ClickTheLink… or #ClickTheLike), they cover a car payment. And you know what, I’ll even make it more worth your while. If I get 199 likes, I’ll randomly draw a name from everyone who did and send them a #CheckTheLink t-shirt! You just have to leave a comment after clicking the SPARQ box so I know who you all are!

Michael Thomas received too much hate this year, as he was one of the most consistent receivers in Fantasy Football. He also had the least amount of touchdowns for any receiver with 96-plus receptions, pointing to positive regression next year… Davante Adams is clearly the No. 1 receiver for the Packers, even with Aaron Rodgers back… Tyreek Hill and Brandin Cooks are two top receivers where the year-end numbers look better than the weekly consistency… Allen Robinson’s 2018 team will be interesting to find out, and I would love to see him with the 49ers… Corey Davis is exceptionally talented and will break out in 2018, as he will have more time to develop a rapport with Marcus Mariota and stay on the field… Sterling Shepard could be ranked too low if Brandon Marshall doesn’t return or too high if he does… Josh Doctson flashed his potential, and like Davis, will have his breakout year with Terrelle Pryor gone from day one (even though Pryor was pretty much invisible anyway)…

The 2018 rookies could struggle as much as the 2017 ones did, but if you’re looking for a Cooper Kupp-like option, that would be Christian Kirk… The Buccaneers have an easy exit from DeSean Jackson, and I think they could take it and allow the very talented Chris Godwin to step up as the No. 2… Don’t forget about Mike Williams and John Ross in their second seasons.

Once again, the tight end position makes me push for leagues to implement a WR/TE Flex instead of your standard TE spot. Then you could have debates about starting an Eric Ebron or Mike Wallace… It would appear that Hunter Henry will finally have rid himself of Antonio Gates and have the season many wanted to see this past year… Second year tight ends O.J. Howard and David Njoku will join Evan Engram by being Fantasy relevant and reaching/nearing the TE1 tier… George Kittle, Adam Shaheen and Gerald Everett are intriguing sleepers for 2018.
