Raiders and Patriots face the same disadvantage. Carr hasn’t lit up the Fantasy scorecard since returning from injury, but he has thrown for over 300 yards in three straight contests; no small feat. In Week 11, Carr goes up against an improved Patriots defense from earlier this season, but that isn’t saying much considering how awful they were. Expect the Raiders to rely heavily on Carr since Tom Brady and the Pats’ offense will put up big numbers in this game. He’s a start for me in all formats; a huge breakout game’s coming for Derek Carr.

Kenyan Drake (Mia) vs. Buccaneers- It’s clear by now that Drake is the more talented of the two RBs in the committee for the Dolphins right now. Damian Williams has seen more of the volume thus far, but expect that to change rapidly as Drake continues to prove his worth. Week 11 versus a swiss cheese Bucs run defense is the perfect opportunity for Drake to take over as the featured back. Feel comfortable putting Drake in your lineups at home against the woeful Bucs, especially in PPR formats.

Amari Cooper (Oak) vs. Patriots (In Mexico)- If Carr’s having a monster game this week, so too must his receivers. It’s hard to be comfortable playing Cooper at this point, which is why I’m going out on a limb here. Cooper’s only had one big game the whole season, but we all know he’s capable of reproducing at that elite level. Don’t be afraid to plug my boy Cooper in against the Pats this week; the matchup and game script plays into his hands nicely.
Projection: 26 Fpts
DeVante Parker (Mia) vs. Buccaneers- Here’s a pretty amazing stat for you. DeVante Parker has scored a minimum of 12.5 Fantasy Points (PPR) in every full game he’s played in this season. If Jay Cutler is at the helm for the Dolphins, Parker remains a solid PPR WR. Many experts will say that he does almost all his damage in “garbage time”, which is true, but the fact of the matter is garbage time is part of Fantasy Sports. It’s no longer a fluke when a player has five full games played with 12.5-plus Fantasy points in all five. The Bucs defense is bottom in the league both the run and pass, and Parker is a WR2 in PPR until further notice.
Projection: 22 Fpts
Jay Ajayi (Phi) at Cowboys- The trade to the Eagles might be exactly what the big back needed to turn his season around, Ajayi’s bust Fantasy campaign could be salvaged. If Ajayi wants to get back to the stud he’s flashed at times last season, Week 11 is a suitable place to start. The Cowboys run defense is 30th in the league according to the DVOA metric, if Ajayi sees enough volume and the Eagles take a healthy lead, expect big numbers from him.
Projection: 19 Fpts
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Bills- With the Bills changing hands at QB for the first time all season, the Chargers fall into a lucky draw. Youngster Nate Peterman will start for the Bills in Week 11, and although his prospects are unknown, young QBs often don’t do well in their first start. Not to mention, the Chargers have two defensive ends that are extremely efficient when it comes to rushing the passer. Feel good about starting the Chargers defense in Week 11.

The Sit’em Six
Jordy Nelson (GB) vs. Ravens- It’s at the point that you can’t even start Jordy Nelson in Fantasy at all anymore. You certainly cannot drop him. I believe he can resurface as a valuable Flex option in PPR leagues, but Week 11 isn’t the right time. The Ravens’ defense ranks among the Top 5 against the pass and with the way things are going right now for Nelson, you can’t start him. Eventually, Hundley will learn to connect with Nelson more often, or Rodgers will come back sooner than expected. For now, owners of Jordy Nelson should stash him away until the day of his resurgence comes.
Projection: 8 Fpts
Kirk Cousins (Wsh) at Saints- Cousins lit it up at home last week against an outstanding Vikings defense; two rushing TDs really helped his cause. But, Cousins has had his down games in 2017, and Week 11 versus a stellar Saints pass defense looks to be another one. The Saints team as a whole has been the total opposite of what we’d expected. Not only has the defense become a force to be reckoned with, but they’ve been one of the best teams on the ground as well. The Saints’ fast-paced air attack of old didn’t help the defense much either; running the ball is always better for the defense because they get more time to rest. Cousins will have a very difficult time on the road in New Orleans facing the most well-balanced, complete Saints team I’ve ever seen.
Projection: 15 Fpts
Marshawn Lynch (Oak) vs. Patriots- If it wasn’t for two TDs in Week 9, Lynch would’ve had a very pedestrian game. Clearly, Lynch lives and dies by the TD, since he certainly will not help anyone in the pass catching department. The Patriots defense isn’t very good verses either the run or pass, but they can score a lot of points, which means the Raiders may have to abandon the run early to play catch up. Take the meat and potatoes of this potentially potent offense. Derek Carr, his two main receivers, and Jared Cook as a sleeper and strong DFS play.
Projection: 9 Fpts
Doug Martin (TB) at Dolphins- As you can see, no Winston is really hurting Doug E. Fresh right now. Martin’s gone from viable Fantasy option in all formats with Winston, to now a possible drop candidate in a few short weeks… That’s Fantasy Football for you. Don’t expect things to get any better for Doug with the Dolphins on deck. Lately, the Dolphins’ defense has let up a lot of Fantasy points to RBs, specifically rushing TDs, but overall, they’ve held down RB yardage. The combination of Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB, Martin’s recent woes, and the Dolphins rushing prowess, it doesn’t look good for Doug Martin in Week 11.
Projection: 8 Fpts
Kelvin Benjamin (Buf) at Chargers- Between Benjamin’s unfamiliarity with the Bills playbook, the QB change to Nate Peterman, and the Chargers’ top notch pass defense, there’s nothing to like about Benjamin going into Week 11. Benjamin’s first game playing with his new team didn’t yield much production, so perhaps the change at QB will help him when it comes to volume. But, it’s difficult to bank on quality Fantasy production from Benjamin right now. Too many negatives and question marks surrounding him leaves Benjamin on the outside looking in. Look elsewhere at WR this week.
Projection: 7 Fpts
Cameron Brate (TB) at Dolphins- Cameron Brate has taken the biggest hit from Jameis Winston’s injury. Brate was one of the most consistent TEs in Fantasy with Winston. In his last two games, however, his production has completely bottomed out. Brate’s had two catches for 19 yards in his last two games combined, a far cry from where he was at just three weeks ago. The sad part is Week 11 would normally be a great matchup for him, but you can’t count on Brate anymore. With Fitzpatrick at QB, Brate is bench fodder moving forward.
