reaching base four times including a home run. Fisher was dominant at the plate in the minors this year, posting a .335 average, 16 homers and 13 stolen bases. Reddick’s injury may have been just the opening that Fisher needed to become a part of the Astros’ everyday lineup. If he continues to excel in Reddick’s absence, he could take Norchika Aoki’s at-bats one Reddick returns. And anyone with Fisher’s power and speed upside in the Astros loaded lineup is worth a spot on a Fantasy roster.
Eric Sogard 2B/SS, MIL

Sogard is putting together one of the most unlikely seasons in a long time. The 31-year-old with a career .609 OPS is currently hitting .357 with a 1.030 OPS. While this certainly doesn’t seem sustainable, it may be worth riding the hot hand as long as Jonathan Villar remains on the disabled list and Sogard gets regular at-bats. Villar was placed on the DL on June 10th with back spasms. He has an above average Health Performance Factor according to Inside Injuries, so he shouldn’t be out for long, but Sogard makes more sense as a short term streamer anyway. Riding the hot hand when you have a chance can help you in the middle of the season’s dog days.
Homer Bailey SP, CIN
Bailey has only eight Major League starts in the past two seasons and finds himself yet again on the comeback trail. He underwent elbow surgery this offseason, but just threw his first game as part of a rehab assignment and could be back in the majors soon. According to Inside Injuries, he is a low injury risk with an above average Health Performance Factor, which is encouraging for a guy coming back from an extended period of injury. Bailey’s solid numbers between 2012-2014 make him worth a look ahead of his potential comeback.
Francis Martes SP, HOU
Martes was fantastic in his Major League debut, giving up one run and striking out seven over five innings. With the Astros’ starters severely banged up, he could potentially find himself as a part of the rotation moving forward. Dallas Keuchel and Lance McCullers were both recently placed on the DL, meaning that Martes should at least get a somewhat extended opportunity to stay in the majors. His numbers in Triple A this season might scare you away, but his stuff shows why he was a highly regarded prospect. He’s worth a flier.
Steve Pearce OF/2B/1B, TOR
Pearce is likely to be activated from the DL as soon as this weekend, making him worth a look. After a great season in 2016, Pearce signed with Toronto during the offseason and has struggled to get things going, largely due to the calf injury he suffered in May that sent him to the DL. Now that he returns, he gets to start fresh and hopefully put up the kind of numbers from here on that were expected of him. With Ezequiel Carrera just hitting the DL, he also won’t have much competition for at-bats in left field. Also, his positional versatility brings added value. He’s worth a look in most league
