NFL Analyst Picks: Week 17

The final week of the NFL regular season often brings irregular lines due to varying degrees of motivation for the teams involved.  In that way the pros emulate the college postseason for at least one week of the year.  Still, some teams have plenty to play for and our analysts have four picks for AccuScore users.

JON’S EXPERT PICKS

San Francisco 49ers -10.5 at St. Louis Rams
The computer actually likes the Rams in the final week of the season, but I’m going to go against it this time.  San Francisco needs this win to secure the two-seed in the NFC, and with it a first-round bye in the playoffs.  With the team suffering some nagging injuries the extra week off would be the perfect tonic for better health in what the Niners hope will be a run to the Super Bowl.  Jim Harbaugh’s team is 12-2 ATS this season while the Rams are 2-12.
