College Basketball Analyst Picks - Feb 29
By Jonathan Lee
Happy Leap Day everyone. All that means for college hoop fans however is that March is one day further away than necessary. Don’t worry, the madness is already upon with several conference tournaments already underway including the Horizon League and Big South. The Ohio Valley, Patriot League, Atlantic Sun, and WCC join in on the action today as well. More and more conference will start up their tournaments to decide automatic bids over the next week with only the Ivy League simply crowning its regular season champion.
The major conferences will sit out another week or so before beginning their own conference tournaments. In the meantime we will get more BCS league games that will crucial towards building up a strong resume before the selection committee convenes. Tonight, underrated Marquette looks to get its 14th Big East win of the season at Cincinnati. Missouri must defend its homecourt and against at-large candidate Iowa State. The Cyclones in fact trail the Tigers by just one game in the Big 12 standings. UNLV travels to Colorado State in a critical game for the at-large candidacy of the Rams.
Inside I have made three college basketball picks for our members for Wednesday’s action.
