The NBA Season is off to a fast start. Point Spread picks are 42-33, 56% +570 and Totals are 46-32, 59% +1080. Like last season Side Value picks are under 50 percent, but still profitable (37-47, 44% +432) because when heavy underdog win and AccuScore SV is with the underdog the payoff can be well over +500. When the road team is favored by 4 or more points ATS picks are 7-4 and when the home team is favored by 2 to 7.5 points AccuScore is 17-9. Early Totals are best when the line is 205.5 or higher (16-5) and when the line is 190.5 to 195 (14-5).

NHL Side Value and Totals were up over +300 on Friday and picks are profitable with Side Value going 119-105, 53.1% +486 and Totals 102-84, 54.8% +960. The Daily Line Report can help identify the best trends. For example, AccuScore is just 24-31 on Side Value picks when the home team line is -100 to -129, but it is 48-35, 57.8% +1058 when the home team is favored -130 to -169. Totals are 43-42 when the pick is Over, but 59-42, 58.4% +1280 when the pick is under.

For the year AccuScore is 55-44, 55.6% +660 on point spreads and 61-44, 58.1% +1260 on Totals. In Conference games AccuScore is 91-56, 61.9% +2940. AccuScore is an amazing 51-23, 68.9% +2570 on NFC Conference games alone. These records are based on Final posted lines. Mid-Week lines are also strong at 109-92, 54.2% +780 on all Totals and point spreads. When the simulation and betting lines are at least 3 points different AccuScore is 44-28, 61.1% +1320.

The best NCAAF picks this year have been Totals (239-192, 55.5% +2780) and point spreads in ACC, Big-East, C-USA, MAC, and SEC conference games (80-64, 55.6% +960 mid-week lines, 77-68, 53.1% +220 Final posted lines). Final posted ATS picks have been best when the difference between the sim line and the betting line is at least 5 points (26-19, 57.8% +510). However, mid-week lines have been best when the sim and betting line difference is minimal (2.5 points or less ATS and Totals 211-150, 58.4% +4600). This is likely due to the fact that many lines move in AccuScore’s ‘direction’. Until we say otherwise, you should not necessarily interpret higher betting prediction percentages as stronger plays and you may want to lay down action early in the Week (Wed –Thu). Focus on what side of the line AccuScore is on and use this information in conjunction with an overall system that uses a variety of trends and factors.
