Players to Watch:  Dallas – The Stars are lucky that Mike Ribeiro was not suspended for his slash on Chris Osgood in game two.  AccuScore simulations show that without Ribeiro, the Stars would have only won 39.5 percent of simulations in game three.  The Stars are just not executing in this series, scoring two goals in two games, with Marty Turco allowing six goals.  Turco turned things around in game two, but received no help from his offense.  He is allowing three or more goals in every simulation tonight, which means that Brad Richards, Mike Modano, and Sergei Zubov, all of which have been pointless in this series, will need to step up tonight.  Detroit – Johan Franzen has easily been the top player for Detroit in the playoffs, but will miss another game tonight.  Detroit was favored by 10 percentage points, but now is favored by only six percentage points in AccuScore simulations without Franzen.  Tomas Holmstrom and Dan Cleary are two players stepping up their production in simulations without Franzen, which is enough to give Detroit the edge in this game.

Top Fantasy Goalie:  Chris Osgood is stopping 90.4 percent of shots faced, and is allowing two or fewer goals in 60 percent of simulations.
