Kansas over Davidson:
I’ve seen Davidson play six times this year, once in person.  I love Stephen Curry, and think he will defy critics and have a long NBA career just like his father Dell.  Jason Richards does not look or seem like he should be a Division I point guard, but he just get its done, and really knows how to play the game.  I believe Bob McKillop to be college basketball’s most underrated coach.  If he were at a high-major school he long ago would have made it this far in the tournament.  So it pains me to pick against the Wildcats.

In all honesty, I should have picked them to win the last three.  I had little doubt they would beat Gonzaga, but I overlooked that Georgetown and Wisconsin were actually very good match-ups for Davidson.  The styles of play were conducive to keeping a team with less overall talent (such as Davidson) in the game.  The transcendent performances by Stephen Curry put the Wildcats over the top.  The Hoyas lacked the heart and fortitude and the Badgers didn’t have the pure star power to match Curry’s incredible ability.  Kansas has both of those in spades.  That’s why I’m going against Davidson once again and picking the Jayhawks to reach the Final Four.

Kansas was one of my picks to reach San Antonio way back in November.  Bill Self’s team has had the easiest road thus far (yes, including UCLA) playing a 16-, 8-, and then a 12-seed to reach this point.  Supreme talent dots the roster this year with four athletic post players, one NBA-caliber wing, and three multitalented guards.  The versatility of this team will be key against Davidson as it can throw various different looks at Curry.  Brandon Rush will bring size, Sherron Collins strength, and Mario Chalmers and Russell Robinson have length and quick hands to bother the shooting superstar.  I full expect Curry to get his points once again.  Nothing he could do would surprise me at this point, but I believe Self will make Curry at least work for his points and try and take away his teammates.  If Richards and Andrew Lovedale don’t contribute then Davidson’s margin for error goes way down.

I was proven wrong about Davidson, but once again I’m picking against the Wildcats.  Has anybody noticed that on the CBS telecasts, instead of using a shorter abbreviation it says “DAVID”?  Isn't that a sign I should be going against Goliath?

i think Davidson has a strong chance over Wisconsin. I have watched quite a bit of Wisconsin and think that Davidson has the talent to bring out there weak spots. It will be a close match, Man I certainly didn't think as a Wisconsin fan I would be afraid of some school with 1,700 students.lol

I think it will come down to Wisconsin and Kansas. You think Wisconsin will even have a shot against Kansas. If they do beat them you think there is a way they can compete with UNC?

I think it is funny you pick Wisconsin over Davidson. Davidson is terribly underated as I have them picked over GTown and Wisconsin. For anyone who knew of Davidson before the tourney it really isnt much of a shocker they are in this position. Curry's performance is not out of suit as he is normally scoring 30 points a game. They come from a weak conference but they have played premiere talent including UNC Duke and UCLA. They have been behind in every game and won't lose there composure if they get down...I dont know seventeen like against GTown. I definitely think that Davidson will pull off the win and won't let Wisconsin get the UPSET.

clemson should dominate nova..k.c. rivers, mayes, and hammonds at powerfull threats just as everybody saw in the acc championship game kc rivers is a beast. nova shoud take tips from unc by pass over the press but turnovers will be the key to clemson winning any game in the tourny

Wisconsin will beat Duke. They are bigger and have a better defense. Georgetown's big wins came at he buzzer or by a couple points. They are not this good of a team that everyone thinks they are. And this is all coming from a Georgetown fan who lives here in the district.

Anyway. GO WVU, GO BIG EAST!

Davidson actually lost to UCLA by 12, but did lead by almost 20 early on in that game. I certainly think the Wildcats are capable of winning two games, especially in Raleigh, I just think the talent discrepancy will win out for Georgetown.

Agree with your bracket, but if Curry goes off on Georgetown then i think they may have a chance. Davidson only lost to UNC and Duke by a combined 6 points. They had a hard non conference schedule so they should get more credit. Ranked 13 is fine they can make it to the Sweet 16.
